We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised Operations Support Assistant to join our busy Operations team. Based at our Carlisle office.  You will play a key role in supporting our Head of Operations helping to keep everything running smoothly across our offices.


What you’ll be doing

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day work will be diverse, and no two days will be the same. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a wide range of daily administrative tasks.
  • Ordering stock and stationery, and handling invoice processing.
  • Organising meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Creating staff cover rotas and supporting our Welcome/Reception areas.
  • Coordinating maintenance contracts and services, including liaising with contractors and service engineers to arrange site visits for all offices.
  • Carrying out operational support visits to our regional offices in Newcastle and Cockermouth. (A driving licence and business-use insurance are therefore preferable.)
  • Supporting Health & Safety processes, including risk assessments and training coordination.
  • Acting as a First Aider and/or Fire Marshal – desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Keeping operational files, processes, and reference materials up to date.
  • Helping plan and host staff and client events.
  • Providing mentoring and support to new members of the team.
