Diane Barnes
Profile
Diane Barnes joined Burnetts as a trainee solicitor in September 2007 and qualified in September 2009.
She read Law at Durham University before completing her LPC at Northumbria University where she was a prize-winning student.
From a Cumbrian farming family, Diane has worked in Burnetts’ agricultural, conveyancing and debt recovery departments. On qualification, she became a permanent member of the agriculture law team and now specialises in agricultural land, tenancies and property sales. In 2011 Diane became a dual-qualified solicitor, able to practice on both sides of the England – Scotland border.
Diane is a governor of Lees Hill CE Primary School. She enjoys fell walking and cooking in her spare time.
