Our Employment team is joining forces with Torgersens Chartered Accountants to host a FREE seminar for businesses across the North East.

Trying to navigate your way round the modern labour market these days can be a complicated affair, with many more different categories of workers than ever before! Do you know what these are, what their rights and entitlements are and how to manage any legal and financial challenges?

This seminar is being run by both employment law experts and accountants and will help you map the way and navigate the waters of both the legal and tax world. Learn how to distinguish between employees, workers and the self-employed, at the same time as clarifying that tricky topic of IR35.

Who should attend? Managers (of all levels), business owners, HR managers, HR business partners, HR assistants, operations and production managers, anyone else who engages with people management issues, and anyone with people responsibility across an organisation.

This will be an interactive and engaging event, expertly led by David Gibson and Sara Devennie, experienced employment solicitors at Burnetts and Martin Johnson, Partner at Torgersens.
