Certification Nation Day – Great Place to Work

Today is Great Place to Work’s Certification Nation Day, a global event that encourages certified companies to show off their achievements and shout from the rooftops. As we are now #GPTWcertified for the second year running, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity for you to hear from our Head of People Claire Harrison about what Great Place to Work actually is and what makes our workplace so special.

“The Great Place to Work ‘Best Workplaces’ accreditation is really important to us as it is a tangible indicator of the genuinely fantastic people and culture, we have at Burnetts. We think we are unique in that we can deliver excellent client service whilst offering our staff a rewarding, supportive and fun environment in which to do it.

Great relationships are based on mutual trust and the annual engagement survey enables our staff to tell us what they want to see improved in their working lives, and then they trust that we will listen and then involve them in the developments. This is why we saw a 13% increase in our Trust Index after our first year of the survey, to a whopping 82% of staff telling us that we are a ‘Great Place to Work’…. because we really are!”
