Obstetric Trauma

When things go wrong during childbirth, this can result in injury to either the child and the mother or both. In addition to our specialist team who deal with birth brain injury, we have significant experience of bringing claims of maternal trauma.

We have assisted women who have suffered the following:

• Missed third and fourth degree tears to the perineum
• Nerve injury through misuse of obstetric instruments such as forceps
